As your Mason, Leslie, and Holt neighborhood reporter—and Mid Michigan morning reporter—I’m proud to call the mitten my lifelong home! Though I grew up in Metro Detroit and spent time in Manhattan, New York, for college, my heart brought me back to Michigan, where I graduated from Michigan State University in the spring of 2024 with a degree in broadcast journalism.
My passion for storytelling started early, thanks to my background in theatre and a lifelong love of the arts. I’ve always been artsy and creative, which influences the way I connect with people and craft stories that matter. At MSU, I fell in love with Mid Michigan, exploring as both a student and an intern for FOX 47. As a full-time multimedia journalist (MMJ), I’m excited to keep digging my roots even deeper in the community I love.
For me, journalism is about truth, transparency, and shining a light on the people and issues that matter. My goal is to connect with viewers and readers, help wherever I can, and give a voice to stories that deserve attention.
