I’m your St. Johns and DeWitt neighborhood reporter, Claire Bacarella.

I’m excited to be part of these vibrant communities and dive into the stories that matter most to my neighbors.

Originally from Monroe, I graduated from Michigan State University with a degree in journalism and a minor in broadcast.

During my time at MSU, I worked with the student newscast Focal Point News as a reporter/producer and served as news director at the student radio station Impact 89FM.

I value the opportunity to share the experiences and challenges of my neighborhoods, and I’m eager to connect with neighbors to bring their stories to the forefront.
