Spartan Motors in Charlotte celebrating the completion of of a new vehicle manufacturing plant Tuesday. Spartan Motors showed off Plant 12, where it is making the new 2018 Isuzu FTR Class 6 medium-duty truck.
The new plant is 85,000 square feet and cost $6.5 million to build.
Spartan Motors representatives say that this has brought 100 jobs to the area.
Spartan has already been working with Isuzu. It has been manufacturing the smaller Isuzu N-Series truck in Charlotte since 2011, producing its 40,000th Isuzu N-Series this year.
