For over 55 years the Holt Kiwanis Club has put baskets in the local Holt schools and the school children fill them with good from their home cupboards.
This Friday the club will be picking up the 150 baskets and delivering them to the Holt Presbyterian Church, at the corner of Holt/Aurelius roads.
At 3:30 about 40 Holt school children will be coming out to sort the baskets and put the canned goods in different boxes.
Last year the Postal Food Drive collected 5,000lbs. this drive collected 6,500lbs. last year!
