There are two days a year married men can not screw up-- their anniversaries and Valentine's Day, which is Tuesday.

That's why "Fabiano's Homemade Candy" in Lansing has been packed for the last couple days Owner Melinda Fabiano Blair tells said they started making the Valentine's Day candy right after Christmas.

She says this is the busiest time of the year. "All I know is that Lansing has been really good to us and the people that come and wait in line don't seem to mind waiting in line. It makes me feel proud of what my family has accomplished and I know that my parents are looking down on us and smiling from ear to ear."

The staff was also pretty busy getting roses ready for delivery at the Hyacinth House in Lansing.

The website "statistic brain" says 189 million roses are produced for valentine's day. 73% of them are bought by men.

The average American spends a little more than $116 a year on the holiday.
