The 14th Annual Ele’s Race 5K Run and Walk will be held on Saturday, July 15, 2017 at the Jackson National Life Insurance Company (Jackson) headquarters in Okemos, Mich. The annual fundraiser directly benefits the Lansing location of the healing center for grieving children and teenagers.

Cost: Registration fee is now $35, from July 2 to on-site registration on July 15. Kiosks will be available for on-site registration.

Early packet pick-up: Friday, July 14 from 3 p.m. to 7 p.m.
Race day packet pick-up: Saturday, July 15 from 6:30 a.m. to 7:45 a.m.
Details: Ele's Race is a 5K run and/or walk on a 3.1-mile course on the grounds of Jackson National Life headquarters. Ele’s Race is a fundraiser to benefit Ele’s Place programs for grieving children and their families.
Prizes will be awarded to the top five finishers in each race division, Male and Female, and the top five "Family Finishers" which is defined as a parent or guardian crossing the finish line hand-in-hand with a child age 12 or younger. Grand prizes will be awarded to: Overall Male and Female; Overall Male and Female Masters (age 40-49); and Overall Male and Female Grand Masters (age 50 and over).
Race results will be scored using B-tags which affix to the bib number, and/or D-tags which affix to the shoelace. Race results will be posted on the Ele’s Place web page immediately following the race.
Ele's Race is a proud participant of the Playmakers Kids Mile Series. Registration is free for kids, age 12 and under, and the activity will start at 9:40 a.m. See Playmakers’ website, playmakers.com, for more details. You may register for the Kids Mile at Ele's Race Packet Pickup or on race day.
Children’s activities along with a 100-yard youth dash are planned. Live music on the course will be provided by the band, The Boomers, with finish line music provided by Playmakers.

Parking is available at Jackson National Life headquarters. We strongly encourage allowing plenty of time to arrive and park. We also encourage carpooling with friends and family to ease congestion.
No scooters, hoverboards, skateboards, rollerblades, bikes or pets please. Strollers are allowed, but passengers over the age of 3 must be registered to participate in the 5K.
