LANSING, Mich. — Showers are expected this evening and tonight, and there may even be a few storms mixed in as well. The severe threat looks minimal, but some strong gusty winds are possible, along with some locally heavy rain. Temperatures max out overnight near 60 between midnight and 2am, then fall to near 50 by daybreak Friday. Cold air continues to filter in through the day Friday. By 4pm we'll be near 40 degrees and falling through the 30s in the evening. With strong gusty winds over 25mph, it'll feel like the 20s and lower 30s most of Friday. A few showers may be around in the morning, but we dry out through the day and look forward to more clearing. The weekend looks good but cooler. More sunshine is on tap with highs in the middle 30s Saturday and lower 40s Sunday.
