Rain, Snow and Strong Winds to Impact Holiday Travel

LANSING, Mich. — Tonight a few passing clouds are expected with temperatures dropping into the middle 30s. We get back into the upper 40s Tuesday with some spots hitting the lower 50s. After a dry start to the day, rain is expected to move in later in the afternoon and into the evening. This rain lingers into parts of Wednesday and will likely mix in with a little bit of snow Wednesday before ending. However the bigger impact with this storm system are the strong winds. A lot of us could see winds gusting well over 45mph Wednesday, and because of that a High Wind Watch is in effect for most of mid-Michigan Wednesday. Thanksgiving day looks dry and quiet but cooler, with highs in the upper 30s.
