An area of low pressure moving our way will lift a warm front through Mid-Michigan this morning and the low will pass through the area this afternoon. Behind the low gusty winds and colder air return tonight.

This morning expect periods of rain and possibly a thunderstorm. Fog will be thick at times this morning with warmer air moving over the current snowpack. A Dense Fog Advisory has been issued for the area until 10 A.M. Visibilities at times will be under a mile.

This afternoon expect rain showers and some patchy fog remains possible. High temperatures today will range from the mid 40s in the Lansing area to the mid 50s south and east of Jackson. The normal high temperature today is 31.

Gusty winds tonight behind the storm system and with the wind switching to the northwest colder air returns. Winds tonight at times will gust to near 30 MPH. A couple of rain and snow showers are expected tonight.

Wednesday will be a breezy and colder day with mostly cloudy skies. A few snow showers are possible south of I-94 Wednesday with an area of low pressure passing south of Michigan. High temperatures Wednesday will be back in the low 30s.
