LANSING, Mich. — A cool start to the week marks the final day where highs fall shy of 50 for the foreseeable future. Afternoon sunshine gets us into the upper 40s but we still end up close to 20 degrees below normal.
The warmup begins on Tuesday with more sun and slightly milder temps, continuing through a dry midweek. We're back into the 60s for Wednesday and Thursday with 70s through the coming weekend.
A few chances for rain late week shouldn't be a washout, with a few of those days featuring short-lived showers. Overall, it's looking like a much more pleasant trend heading into the middle of May.
