LANSING, Mich. — Snow showers continue overnight as temperatures drop into the middle to upper 20s. By the team we wake up, an inch or two will be on the ground for most, but more is expected Wednesday. It's not until Wednesday evening that we see the snow taper down, but some lingering snow is also expected Thursday as lake effect starts up. By the time all is said and done, most of us get 3 to 4 inches of snow with higher amounts further southeast. Areas northwest of Lansing may only see around an inch, and areas closer to Toledo could get closer to 7 inches. Following the snow, the big story will be the cold. Highs Wednesday will be in the upper 20s, but it will feel like the teens most of the day. By Thursday we only top out in the middle 20s with wind chills in single digits.
