The Michigan Department of Licensing and Regulatory Affairs (LARA) has suspended Larry Nassar's license to practice as an osteopathic physician.
The former physician, who practiced medicine at MSU and was once the team doctor for USA Gymnastics, is currently behind bars accused of sexually assaulting multiple patients.
Nassar is awaiting court proceedings in Ingham County, where he is accused of sexually assaulting a minor. He is also been charged at the federal level, after FBI agents discovered thousands of images of child pornography in a garbage can outside his Delhi Township home during a search late last year.
Several lawsuits have also been filed against Nassar.
