DETROIT (WXYZ) -- The Lions welcomed back members of the 1991 team Sunday at Ford Field as part of the annual NFL Homecoming event.
The 1991 Lions reached the NFC Championship Game, losing to eventual Super Bowl champion Washington.
Pro Football Hall of Famer Barry Sanders served as an honorary captain for Sunday's pregame coin toss. The team as a whole was honored during a halftime ceremony.
