The Detroit Tigers have one a hall of famer and fan favorite throwing out the first pitch for Opening Day against the Boston Red Sox on Friday afternoon.
Ivan "Pudge" Rodriguez will throw out the ceremonial first pitch just a few months after he was elected to the Pro Baseball Hall of Fame.
Rodriguez spent five years in Detroit from 2004-2008 and appeared in 611 games for the Tigers. He batted .298 with 62 home runs and 300 RBIs.
