Just in time for summer, Uber will begin offering service in several towns along the Lake Michigan coast.
According to Uber, they will begin operating in New Buffalo, St. Joseph, Benton Harbor, South Haven, Saugatuck, Grand Haven, Holland and Muskegon beginning Friday, June 16.
They will offer UberX, the ride-sharing product, UberXL, the larger vehicles, and UberSELECT for those who like to ride in style.
“I am pleased to announce that Uber is officially launching in popular beach destinations in Western Michigan," Uber Michigan General Manager Joames Ondrey said in a release. "Visitors to the area can now use Uber to enhance their vacation experiences, while residents have a safe, reliable transportation option and a flexible earning opportunity available to them at the tap of a button."
The celebrate, Uber is offering new users a free ride up to $15 when they use the code LAKEMI17 between Friday, June 16 at 1 p.m. and October 1.
