LANSING, Mich. — A 31-year-old man was sent to the hospital after a shooting in the 4600 block of Atlanta Place in Lansing Wednesday night.

Lansing police say the victim was confronted by two suspects, which led to an altercation.

The victim was shot several times. The suspects fled the scene and, as of right now, police have no descriptions.

Police do not believe this was not a random act and say the suspects and victim “have some sort of connection.”

This is still an open investigation and if you know anything, you’re asked to call the Lansing Police Department at 517-483-4659.
