Police have taken a man into custody after an apparent road rage shooting on Detroit's Lodge Freeway.
The shooting occurred during rush hour on the southbound Lodge Freeway, near Schaefer Highway. Emergency crews responded around 6:15 p.m.
An eyewitness video posted to Facebook shows a man near a Chrysler 300 walking along the freeway and shooting a rifle or shotgun at a black car about 30 to 40 feet in front of the 300.
Police are asking the drivers of the cars seen in the above videos to contact them. They are calling the one in the black car that was being shot at a good Samaritan.

Another witness, Stan Jewell, says the man shot at the car four times.
"It was like a movie," Jewell says. "I'm kinda ducking, thinking he might of shot a couple shots our way, cause he had enough ammunition."
Police say the gunman also fired at another car that had crashed about 300 feet behind where the white Chrysler 300 was parked on the side of the freeway.
Following that shooting, witnesses say the man began pulling a number of weapons out of his car and dumping them on the freeway. This includes a large number weapons, including hand guns and long guns.
It's at this point that, witnesses say, the man began yelling at people on the service drive above the freeway and throwing bullets at them.
Police soon arrived on the scene and the man threw up his arms and surrendered. He was taken into custody.
The incident caused a large traffic backup while the freeway was shutdown.
During the shutdown police searched the freeway for shell casings and a K9 unit was brought to the scene.
