U.S. Senate hopeful John James is having a campaign event with President Donald Trump's daughter-in-law in Jackson Tuesday night.
The Protect the American Dream rally with Lara Trump starts at 7:30 p.m. at the Commonwealth Commerce Center on Washington Avenue.
James is running against incumbent Democrat Debbie Stabenow.
