Chimpanzee loses it when his 'foster family' surprises him for a visit

A chimpanzee at a Miami zoo could barely contain his excitement a few weeks ago when he received a surprise visit from a couple that helped raised him when he was sick.

According to WSVN-TV, Limbani the chimpanzee lives at the Zoological Wildlife Foundation, an appointment-only zoo located near Miami. When he first arrived at the foundation, he was sick and needed constant care.

Jorge and Tania Sanchez volunteered to help watch Limbani while the Foundation nursed him back to help. During those long hours, he developed an unbreakable bond with the Sanchezes.

Two weeks ago, the Sanchezes surprised Limbani with a visit — and the chimp recognized the couple right away. Barely able to contain his excitement, Limbani reached to give both Jorge and Tania a hug right away.

The Zoological Wildlife Foundation has made an Instagram page for Limbani and posted the video two weeks ago. Since then, the video has received more than 50,000 likes and 4,000 comments.
