The debate over Lansing City Market is now headed to court.
Waterfront Bar and Grill is suing Lansing over the city's termination of the restaurant's lease.
Its parent company filed a motion to prevent the city from evicting the restaurant from City Market.
Waterfront was told to leave by Tuesday, but it was still open for business.
The lawsuit says 25 employees will lose their jobs if the restaurant closes.
