EAST LANSING, Mich. — Starting Tuesday, May 28, half of the alley behind some businesses on Grand River between Abbot and M.A.C. Ave. will be getting a new water main system.
Work on the other half was done a couple weeks prior.
The water main replacement is part of East Lansing's ongoing center city district redevelopment project.
Southbound traffic on M.A.C. Ave. towards Grand River will be detoured via Albert Ave. to southbound Charles Street.
The project is expected to last about two weeks.
