LANSING, Mich. — Lansing Police have identified the A 21-year-old Lansing man who died from gunshot wound injuries on Saturday as Tyrell Antonio Pettway.
Pettway was a Lansing resident.
On August 3rd, at approximately 3:20 p.m, Lansing Police Officers responded to report of a shooting inside a business in the Plush Hair Studio at the 5100 block of S. Martin Luther King Blvd.
Officers arrived and located a 21 yr. Lansing male with multiple gun shots.
The Pettway was transported to a local hospital and pronounced deceased.
Police have a 21 yr. old male suspect in-custody.
Police remained on the scene to further their investigation into the shooting.
Preliminary information suggests this was not a random incident and there is no current threat to the public.
Police say more information will be made available as it is obtained.
