Clinton County Sheriff's Office says a 38-year-old Allegan County man was killed in the accident. The driver of the truck, a 31-year-old man from Canada was not injured.

The driver of a car was killed when their car struck the rear of a semi tractor trailer in Eagle Township Tuesday afternoon.
Officials say the accident happened before 12:15 p.m. in the westbound lanes of I-96 right at Grand Road. They believe that both vehicles, a semi-truck and trailer, and passenger vehicle were slowing for an upcoming construction zone.
The passenger vehicle, driven by a 38-year-old man from Allegan County rear-ended the semi-truck and was pronounced dead at the scene.
The driver of the semi-truck, a 31-year-old from Ontario, Canada was not injured.
The crash is still under investigation.
