GAYLORD, Mich. (WSYM) - A suspect has been arrested in connection to the discovery of a body inside a large plastic bag in Gratiot County.
WJRT-TV reports that a man was arrested Friday night in Gaylord.
67-year-old Robert Counterman Junior was found dead in a garbage bag on March 11 by two hunters in Seville Township.
Police say evidence found inside the suspect's camper links him to the crime.
The Gratiot County Sheriff says the suspect was friends with Counterman Junior
The suspect is expected to be arraigned next week.
