New accusations Wednesday against William Strampel.

A former student of his telling FOX 47 what the former MSU Dean of Osteopathic Medicine and former boss of Larry Nassar, said to her on more than one occasion. FOX 47's Alani Letang caught up with the alumna Wednesday.

Dr. Breanna O'Keefe, MSU College of Medicine alumna, said Strampel continuously said inappropriate things to her and made sexual innuendos, in exchange for what he said was special treatment in medical school. Okeefe said it started her second year when she claims Strampel told her she needed to wear special outfits to persuade him to make provisions for her newborn baby.

Dr. Breanna O'Keefe said that Strampel told her, "well 'if you want to get what you want to make sure you were a low-cut shirt to that meeting." Dr. Breanna O'Keefe did not wear a low cut shirt to that meeting but said she still felt uncomfortable.

Breanna said Strampel, "berated me for why should I get special consideration, how dare I even contact him about this. I felt really miserable leaving that meeting, and you're trying not to cry because in front of him because you're trying to hold it together."

Dr. O'Keefe, pregnant with her first child at the time, said she wanted to be placed at a hospital close to home when clinicals started. Strampel agreed to another meeting, but this time she told him she was bringing her husband

"And he said 'well that's not going to help your case.' and finally he basically told us that it would be better for our marriage if we were separated at the time when we had the baby, he thought it was best for his marriage when he didn't have to be around his wife."

She said the harassment continued, when she was 7 months pregnant, at a teleconference meeting. She said he lied and, "he made comments in front of all the students and faculty and administrators there, about how he didn't have any kids here except for mine and the one I was carrying."

No longer feeling the respect that she once had from her classmates, Dr. O'keefe's said her integrity was on the line.

She said, "not only humiliated me but, It really undermined everything that I had worked for at that point and even if you say no it's been put out there and people are going to talk about that."

Breanna said she found it conspicuous when Strampel resigned as dean in the middle of the Larry Nassar scandal. "He might have legitimate medical reasons, but it certainly seemed that as we turn to MSU COM and him, he got out of there," said O'Keefe.

Breanna told Letang she was too afraid of and intimidated by Strampel to speak up when she was a student. She said she was worried he might lower her grades or retaliate against her.

"But I'm also angry at myself because if I would've spoken up sooner then maybe it wouldn't have gotten this far but at the same time, hindsight's 20-20 and that's just kind of the way the culture is," said O'Keefe.

Dr. O'Keefe said she is not ashamed of her university or her degree as a whole.

"I've always been proud of my degree at MSU but it is hard especially when patients come in and asked me 'where did you go to medical school?' well MSU COM. You almost don't want to tell them because you don't want them to think in any way were you associated with any of those things that were happening" O'Keefe told Letang.

She told me one rotten egg does not spoil the bunch. However, she is disappointed in the people involved for allowing sexual misconduct to go on for so long with little to no accountability.

Strampel was arraigned Tuesday on counts of misconduct in office, fourth-degree sexual conduct and two misdemeanor charges of willful neglect of duty. His lawyer said he did nothing wrong. We'll keep you updated on the case.
