A package of bills is on its way to governor Snyder's desk that will place regulations on medical marijuana dispensaries.
The regulations will place an excise tax on medical cannabis, as well as give the police the ability to inspect products.
Michigan's medical marijuana activists aren't pleased though.
They believe the bills, which were largely supported by Republican legislators, are not conducive to free business, and it's an overreach to interfere with medical interactions, and especially to put a tax on it.
