EAST LANSING, Mich. — The city of East Lansing is announcing a number of upcoming road and lane closures to accommodate work associated with the ongoing Infrastructure Restructure project this month.
Harrison Road, north of Michigan Avenue, will be closed to traffic beginning at approximately 9 a.m. on Monday, Aug. 5. The roadway will re-open to traffic by 5 a.m. on Monday, Aug. 12.
One lane of eastbound and westbound Michigan Avenue will remain open and access to businesses located on Harrison Road will be maintained at all times. A detour will be in place.
Additionally, westbound Michigan Avenue will be closed to traffic east of Harrison Road beginning at approximately 7 a.m. on Saturday, Aug. 10 and the roadway will re-open to traffic prior to 5 a.m. on Monday, Aug. 12. A detour will be in place.
Advanced signage will be in place to guide motorists along the detour route during both closures.
