Some more road work on a busy stretch highway in Mid-Michigan is on tap for Friday.
Starting at 10 a.m., MDOT is closing the southbound lane of US-127 between I-69 and Grand River Avenue.
MDOT crews will repaving the road in that area for much of the weekend.
The work is scheduled to wrap up by Sunday afternoon.
The work is the latest phase of MDOT's plan to put in over $2 million to repair the concrete along 13 miles of US-127.
