One man is dead after crashing his motorcycle in Ionia County Saturday night.
The Ionia County Sheriff’s Department responded to a single vehicle crash around 8:20 p.m. on Riverside Drive near Kyser Road in Boston Township, east of Lowell..
When deputies arrived they found 56-year-old Larry Aldrich of Saranac down in the roadway.
Aldrich was not wearing a helmet and was pronounced dead at the scene.
Anyone who may have witnessed the crash is asked to contact the Ionia County Sheriff’s Office at (616) 527-5737.
The accident remains under investigation.
