Police looking for armed robbery suspect in Lansing

Lansing police are looking for a man who robbed a gas station at gunpoint Wednesday morning.

Police got a call for a report of armed robbery at the Speedway gas station on East Michigan Avenue around 4:30 a.m.

A man walked into the store, pulled out a handgun and demanded cash from the clerk. Lansing police said.

The suspect's face was covered with a zip-up hoodie.

He ran off with an undisclosed amount of cash before police arrived.

No one was hurt in the robbery.

Police called in K9 units to track the suspect but that search was not successful.
