BINGHAM TOWNSHIP, Mich. — The Clinton County Sheriff's Office has identified the woman who died after being involved in a crash on US-127.

The sheriff's office says 19-year-old Keara Ann Bullen of Mason was killed in a multi-vehicle crash on US-127 near Taft Road in Bingham Township just after 12:30 p.m. Sunday.

"Initial reports are that a northbound vehicle lost control and went through the median and struck two southbound vehicles," according to a release from the Clinton County Sheriff's Office.

Bullen was driving the northbound vehicle, police said. She was pronounced dead at the scene. Her 19-year-old passenger was not hurt.

Other vehicles involved in the crash include a silver Dodge Avenger and a white Kia. Police did not say which vehicle was hit by the northbound vehicle and which was among the "several" other vehicles that ended up in a ditch to avoid the crash.

Four people including a child were in a Dodge Avenger traveling southbound. All of them were taken to Sparrow Hospital with non-life threatening injuries.

Police say the two occupants in the white Kia were not hurt.

The crash is still under investigation.

UPDATE (8:25 p.m.) - The title of this article has been changed to exclude "wrong-way" because the driver of the northbound vehicle was not intentionally driving in the wrong lane when the crash occurred.
