WILLIAMSTOWN TOWNSHIP, Mich. — One person died in a two-vehicle crash in Williamston Township Saturday morning.
One person died in a two-vehicle crash in Williamston Township Saturday morning, Jan. 19, 2019.Meridian Township Police were dispatched to Grand River Avenue just east of Meridian Road at 8:40 a.m., according to a release from the department.
A westbound vehicle carrying only the driver struck an eastbound vehicle also carrying only the driver, according to the release. It did not say which driver was killed.
The department will not release the deceased driver's name until his or her family is notified.
Its investigation is ongoing. Anyone with information regarding this crash should contact the Meridian Township Police Department.
