The Clinton Co. Sheriff's office is reporting that US-127 between Colony Rd. and French Rd. is closed due to a fatal accident.
This is north of St. Johns.
There was one fatality in the accident between two vehicles.
A car, with two people inside, and a truck collided. The accident is under investigation.
But police are reporting that the car had two people in it and that they have minor injuries. The person in the truck died at the scene.
Both northbound and southbound lanes will remain shutdown for the afternoon.
