More construction headaches are on the way for drivers who use a 9-mile stretch of Interstate 94 in Jackson County.
A new construction project begins next Monday, October 30th, and that means lanes will be closed in both directions on I-94 near Elm Road.
Maintenance work on the Elm Road bridge will take place Sunday through Thursday nights for three weeks.
The work is a temporary fix before a bigger project begins in 2018 in the same 9-mile stretch. That project includes reconstructing the highway between the Lansing Avenue and Elm Road exits, including the Cooper Street exit.
