The Michigan Department of Corrections is hiring up to 700 corrections officers across the state.
The jobs are entry-level positions and hirees would oversee the custody, security, and treatment of prisoners in correctional facilities.
The hourly rate starts at over $17 an hour and training for the positions begins next month.
