LANSING, Mich. — Memorial Day is a day in which we honor the men and woman who have served our country.
Many communities do so with parades, processions, or ceremonies.

During the parade route a wreath laying ceremony was also held.
In Jackson, the Jackson County Veteran's Council held a unique procession that included a flag draped coffin.

Meridian Township hosted its 25th Annual Memorial Day Service on Monday at the Glendale Cemetery.

Meridian Township's event honors and pays respect to the dedicated brave men and women who served in the military, as well as celebrates those who have protected our nation.
