Man shot in the arm in north Lansing

LANSING, Mich. — Lansing Police are investigating after a man said he was shot at the intersection of Cesar E. Chavez and Pennsylvania avenues Monday afternoon.

Police arrived to the hospital and took a statement from the victim, a 34-year-old man. He told police he was walking in the area, when he heard gunshots and realized he had been shot in the arm.

From there, he was taken to the hospital by a friend and treated for non-life threatening injuries.

Police say the victim did not see who shot him, and officers were unable to find a crime scene.
