LANSING, Mich. — One person is dead after a morning house fire in south Lansing.
Crews arrived just after 11 a.m. Sunday to a home engulfed in smoke at 942 Vincent Court, according to a news release from the Lansing Fire Department Sunday night.
The fire department says the fire was nearly out when crews arrived because it did not have much oxygen.
Firefighters found a man dead in a bedroom. His name is being withheld until relatives can be notified.
The cause of the fire is under investigation.
