A man jumped from a moving car in the middle of a high traffic time on Thursday evening.
A 38-year-old man from Howell was found in the median off of I-96 near Okemos.
At approximately 6:15 p.m. Ingham Co. deputies and EMS responded to westbound I-96 in Alaiedon Twp. for a report of a man who had jumped out of a moving vehicle. The man was driving the car on the highway when he jumped out.
Witnesses called it into 9-1-1.
The car continued down the road, eventually stopping in the median.
Fortunately, no one was hurt and the car didn't cause any crashes.
No one else was inside the vehicle.
The man was transported to a local hospital for minor injuries.
