During the course of this homicide investigation a person of interest (suspect) was identified. Lansing Police Detectives along with Michigan State Police and members of the Violent Impact Team (VCI) were able to locate the suspect and arrest him without incident late last night in Lansing’s North end. The suspect is a 62 year old Lansing man.

It has been determined that the suspect and the victim were together in the 400 block of E. Cesar Chavez on the morning of 6/28/19. Both got into a verbal argument that turned physical, and lead to the suspect shooting the victim.
