LANSING, Mich. — Lansing Community College is inviting students, parents and community members to learn about career opportunities in cybersecurity from 4-7 p.m. Thursday, Nov. 7 at the West Campus located at 5708 Cornerstone Drive, Lansing.
Local professionals in the field and LCC faculty will give presentations on the wide variety of career options and training needed to enter this growing field.
According to the U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics, the rate of growth for jobs in information security is projected to grow 37% by 2022, which is faster than the average for all other occupations.
Elementary, middle or high school students, adults considering a career change, parents, school counselors, advisors, teachers, businesses, employers and current college students, whether attending LCC or not are welcome to attend.
