ANN ARBOR, Mich. — The boy police say was intentionally shot by his father in Jackson County will undergo surgery on his hand Tuesday.

2-year-old Ryker has already undergone at least five surgeries to repair his face, hand, arm, and lungs since the Apr. 16 shooting on Barrett Avenue in Blackman Township.

Prosecutors say Ryker was in a car seat in the back of his mom's car when his dad shot him through the car.

Ryker is in critical but stable condition at C.S. Mott Children's Hospital in Ann Arbor.

He's expected to have several more surgeries.

As of Tuesday morning, a GoFundMe page [gofundme.com] had raised over $36,000 for him.
