DETROIT, mich. — There's less than three weeks to go until the next Democratic Presidential Debate. It is set to take place in Michigan.
Before that, eight Democratic candidates will attend the NAACP Convention happening July 24.
Joe Biden, Bernie Sanders, Kamala Harris and Elizabeth Warren will be there. The NAACP also says Cory Booker, Betto O'Rourke and Julian Castro will attend.
The NAACP Dinner is one week before the second Democratic Presidential Debate happening on July 30 and 31 at the Fox Theatre in Detroit. Twenty candidates are set to attend.
CNN is hosting the debate and they're holding a random drawing that will determine which candidates will appear on which night.
The network says each candidate will give an opening statement. During last month's debate, they were only able to give closing statements. CNN also says time will be taken away from any candidate who repeatedly interrupts their counterparts but there's no word on how much time will be taken away.
The two night debate is July 30 and 31. Both nights the debates start at 8:00 p.m. and they are slated for run for two hours.
