LANSING, Mich. — A suspect is charged in the death of Suzann Fedewa, who was found dead along the side of Old Lansing Road in Delta Township in January. An Eaton County judge authorized the following charges against Julian Revilla of Lansing:
First-degree murder
Felony firearm
Felon in possession of a firearm
Carrying a concealed weapon
Revilla faces up to life in prison if he's convicted. He's currently serving 30 months in prison in Ohio on weapons charges. He's due to be released no later than July 6, 2021. Eaton County has started the extradition process to being him back ti Michigan for arraignment.
The sheriff's office and prosecutor's office are not saying what led detectives to Revilla. They say Lansing police, state police, the U.S. Drug Enforcement Agency, the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco and Firearms and the FBI assisted with the eight-month investigation.
