CHARLOTTE, Mich. — FOX 47 News has received the 911 tapes from the January 11th officer-involved shooting in Charlotte.

In the tapes released Monday by Eaton County Dispatch, you can hear the aftermath of a struggle between Jamie Curtis and her daughter Taylor Lahr -- whom she had a restraining order against. In one of the clips, a neighbor calls 911 after he came to Curtis's rescue. The man describes Curtis running over to his house, saying she had been attacked by her daughter and was bleeding. He even goes on to tell dispatch that Curtis believed Lahr had a gun inside the home she barricaded herself in.

You can hear the 911 tape from that neighbor coming up tonight (February 4th) on News 10 at 6 pm.

Taylor Lahr was shot by a Charlotte police officer during the January incident. Last week, the Eaton County Prosecutor announced the Charlotte police officer was justified.
