19 stolen IDs found in man's car

CALHOUN COUNTY, Mich. — The Calhoun County Sheriff's Office is investigating a major case of identity theft.

They made a traffic stop and found 19 stolen identities in a 42-year-old man's car.

The 42-year-old Dowling man and 33-year-old Plainwell woman had IDs from six states and stolen checks from eight people.

The man was on parole for a list of charges, and the woman was on probation for welfare fraud.
