ER resident Christopher Cooley and his brother Matt, a fellow doctor, sprung into action when they heard a man had had collapsed on the golf course, just steps away from them.

The man was 61 year-old, Dave Wujczyk, an insurance agent who was at Plum Hollow Country Club for a golf outing. He says he remembers feeling "strange" but couldn't imagine that just moments later, he would be on the ground, suffering a cardiac arrest.

The two brothers took turns administering CPR until the ambulance arrived. The quick action would later be credited with saving the man's life.

Each year, more than 350,000 people in the U.S. experience cardiac arrest.

Most times, it doesn't happen in the hospital, and it's highly asymptomatic --- meaning by the time an ambulance gets to that person, it's often too late.

Wujczyk says he knows he's one of the lucky ones, fortunate to have collapsed at that golf course next to quick-thinking medics.

He says if it happened anywhere else, it may not have turned out so well.

Today, instead of being in the hospital, Wujczyk is cherishing new memories with his family --- 5 siblings, 3 children, 1 grand-child, and another on the way.

And he says he'll never stop thanking the two brothers that saved his life on the green. In fact, when he gets the clear from his doctors, he wants to return to the course and treat them to special round of golf.
