Lansing-based developer T.A. Forsberg Inc. (Forsberg) has partnered with Toys for Tots, the Home Builders Association of Greater Lansing (HBA) and the Farm Bureau of Michigan to bring Lansing residents their Third Annual Trunk or Treat event, on Wednesday, Oct. 25 from 5 -7 p.m.

“We always look forward to opportunities to interact with the communities we serve. We had a great turnout at last year’s inaugural event and can’t wait to do it again,” said Brent Forsberg, president of T.A. Forsberg Inc. “Halloween is such a unique holiday, and we love using it as a way to bring our communities closer together. Whether we’re serving up candy, scares or costumes – Forsberg and its partners at HBA and Farm Bureau of Michigan are excited to join forces and build a space for families to create new memories together.”

A total of 20 vehicles will be on site with HBA members serving up fun treats and other goodies as they take over the Forsberg headquarters lot at 2422 Jolly Road in Okemos. Families are invited to join the festivities and are encouraged to wear their best costumes. Awards and prizes will be given out for Best Costume and Most Creative Costume.

Organizations are welcome to join in on the fun by sponsoring a vehicle. Space is limited and you must reserve your parking spot in advance. A $40 fee and applications can be submitted online at hbalansing.com/?page=Menu/Events+__+Education/Trunk+or+Treat[hbalansing.com]. Participating sponsors are encouraged to decorate their vehicles and themselves for the occasion, with the most creative and eye-catching displays winning a prize at the end of the night. Sponsors may also use this opportunity to put their brand on display to showcase their organization’s logo.

The trio of partner’s Trunk or Treat event was first held in 2015. Last year’s turnout saw more than 250 children and their families in attendance from the communities of Lansing, East Lansing and Okemos.
