1. The Theme

2. Food and Drinks
Don't feel like you need to be in the kitchen cooking for hours and mixing up a bunch of cocktails. Stick with appetizers and one signature drink. Also, try doing a pot luck so your guests have to do some of the work.

Find fun ways to keep your guests entertained. Gift exchanges are the easiest ways to keep everyone having a ball. Try cranking up the music and having a dance party to really get it started.
