We're learning more about the arrest of former MSU football player Auston Robertson.

Police tell us he is currently being held at the Allen County jail in Indiana. The 19-year-old was arrested around 5:40pm Saturday at a home in Fort Wayne, where he is from.

Police are waiting to hear if Robertson will waive extradition without a hearing or contest the extradition.

A warrant for Robertson's arrest was issued Friday morning after the Ingham County Prosecutor decided to file a charge of 3rd degree criminal sexual conduct stemming from an alleged incident on April 9 in Meridian Township. Robertson was kicked off the MSU football team hours later.

Once Robertson is back in Michigan, we will update you.
